I find myself sobbing helplessly while knowing full well I can never understand the trauma she lives with or how it expresses itself in each stage of her road to a better, healthier life. You are so strong, Megan, in a way few can be. Sometimes the incredible bravey of people who truly are victims of an unrelenting, all encompassing evil is expressed by the best revenge is In living well and becoming more. And by learning, perhaps for the first time ever, how one can make the choices to really live as few can grasp.We live in such convoluted, bizarre times where the victim mentality is ENJOYED and twisted into narcissistic behavior by people who are anything BUT victims & leave no room for the true & honest victim.There is NO SHAME in being one victimized by evil. No shame because vileness in the shape of human beings DO things so dreadful to helpless â€prey" {who is anyone beside the filth who lives to destroy}. Unless someone has been thru it, its true nature defies understanding.There is no blame in the innocent who is devastated. Nor in the innocent people around them. Such atrocities aren't understood by those who cannot share the most minute shred of commonality with this intense depravity.Because of all the false â€victims" we seem unable to accept that there ARE TRUE victims. Those victimized who quietly-or sometimes with screaming, righteous rage and fury against the evil- find a way not only to choose to live but become stronger. Even with steps forward and back at times, these are some of my most loved and respected heroes. Bless you with light, love, peace, and safety. May your road become easier always. Thank you for shredding the complacency of those who do not grasp the evil that abides in the hearts of such ruthlessness. Thank you for finding your strength to break free of such utter darkness and showing us a reality that you survived that few return from to expose. Thank you for your fearless honesty and courage you show is a part of who you are by telling us your story. I hope all who read of your life altering terror struck story will be changed as well for all our lives and we will do what we should to help others taken by evil. At fourteen, you were a child. As a woman, you have an incredible ability to shake us out of our ignorance. Thank you.
I searched “free kindle ebooksâ€. I was truly enjoying Part 1 of 3 and suddenly realized I had to purchase Parts 2 and 3. This is the first negative review I have given, and it’s not because of the books. I feel Amazon should not mislead in reading materials. If I had wanted to buy anything, I would have done so at the beginning. The books themselves were wonderful. It’s just a shame they were divided in such a way as they were through Amazon.
I was engulfed in this book writhing the first 10 pages.I admire Megans' strength and courage in telling her story and bringing awareness to many that young girls (and boys) are at risk to be taken advantage of in unthinkable ways.The only thing I didn't like was I had to wait for book 2 then book 3 to download to continue reading. I would have paid to buy 2&3 together if that were an option.
The final conclusion to this story had me wiping away tears of joy that the author's nightmare finally ended. Forced to grow up to quickly and having endured horrific acts most of us will go through our lives never experiencing, you can't help but feel thrilled to know she made it out of her situation. A tear jerking story, you won't want to miss.
This book shows how easy it is to gain trust from a your teen and most of us know how difficult it is to convince a teen once her mind is made up ! This teen had to learn the hard way ! So much of this goes on in America rite now right under our busy life I wish there was a way for them to get out before the damage is done poor young ladies !
I was disappointed with the ending of this book. There is nothing about how she is doing now and what happened to the people that were trafficking her.

Again part three picks up right were part two leaves off and is well written so that you can feel the pain and confusion that this brave lady went through
