Awesome coloring book. I couldn't ask for anything any better!The pages are single sided, have a beautiful quote on the back of the page and are quite interesting. I've not seen anything like it at all elsewhere.This is quality i'm used to seeing only from Cindy Elsharouni, and I'm happy to have this coloring book for my collection.I've attached four images I've colored from the book so you can get a feel of the quality you're going to get with this book.The paper quality and style is typical of other books from this artist, and I honestly couldn't ask for anything better at this price.
I am so excited for this book to arrive! Was able to color a few preview samples, and enjoyed them so much. If you love steampunk & horses, you'll love this book! I was new to this style, but have have had so much fun discovering new color combinations that express that theme. You can finally play around with & use those cool/dark grey, umber, & ochre pencils that usually get pushed to the side! lol. It's a book that has helped me learn & improve my coloring techniques. The shading in the sketches is very forgiving & helps your results really pop! From the previews, this book is truly a work of art. You can tell how inspired the artist was while creating it over the course of a year! Cindy Elsharouni books have always been my favorite, but this new one is a bit different & I love it! Her attention to horse anatomy is something I haven't seen elsewhere. Even if steampunk isn't your thing, there's so many lovely horses that you'll enjoy. You will not be disappointed by this beautiful book! From the sneak peak inside, each & every page is amazing. It'll be hard to decide which to color first!
LOVE Cindy's new book. This is a must for all horse lovers. Full page pictures of horses to color and the pictures do not run into the edges of the binding. All pictures have a clear margin around them but the pages are not perforated. On the opposite side of the pictures, are proverbs, sayings, and quotes from many people over the years about horses. There are about 41 different horses to color on heavier paper. I liked it so well, I ordered 3 more to give to each of my 3 granddaughters for Christmas. They are all horse lovers. I have almost all of Cindy's books and love them all.
This is a great coloring book with nicely shaded images. The horses are steampunk in nature with some mythical as well. The paper is a good grit for pencils or pens and the images are single sided so you can use ink. The backs of the pages are black with quotes which gives the book a nice character, and the black backs really help when you use pens. I always put a piece of cardboard in between the pages when ink just to make sure nothing bleeds through on the image behind. The images are clear and easy to color with a few that are more busy, so there is something for everyone in it! I would recommend this coloring book for any horse lover out there.
The pictures are pretty, but I was honestly expecting a coloring book. Not a fully finished art book. I don't remember the pictures being COMPLETELY finished when I pre-ordered the book, or maybe the only pictures I was shown were ones that aren't shaded in by the artist. But, it's pretty pictures of horses.

You'll find mythical, steampunk, and all other variations of horses in this coloring book. They are beautifully rendered and ready for you and your horse crazy little girl to lovingly color. Cindy's books are fantastic. This one has so many different beautiful horses on it. The horses are gorgeous, the shapes of them are in perfect proportions. Some horse art looks goofy, the heads are too small or too flat while Cindy's aren't. I highly recommend this book.
Cindy has done it again! Her ability to capture the true essence of the horse both structurally as well as the spirit are amazing. Her art work is true to life with many pages having the added bonus of the fantasy and imagination. The price for what you get in the book is excellent.Both kids and adults will love this book.Thanks for continuing to create!
